The ARTS (music, drama, dance and visual arts) are powerful
tools for teaching and learning in schools and communities. The
Institute will give participants the inspiration, knowledge and
skill to provide students in schools and in community settings
with a complete education . This professional
development opportunity is open to individuals and to teams interested
in learning in, through and about the ARTS.

What will we do at the Institute?
- Experience hands-on ARTS activities to build your
knowledge and skill in the ARTS at the same time as you
- Learn useful and effective teaching strategies and techniques
to enhance student learning across the curriculum.
- Learn about successful school programs.
- Learn how artists and schools can work together for maximum
benefit to students.
- Plan ARTS integration implementation with your school team
Over 30 successful teachers, administrators, and artists-in-schools
will present sessions!
Bring your SCHOOL TEAM!
Administrators, teachers, artists and community members will
be guided in collaborative development of strategies for successful
implementation of Institute content in their own schools.
