
2008 Summer Institute
July 22-24, 2008
Offered by Mary Palmer & Associates,
LLC, in cooperation with the Orlando Museum of Art and the
Orlando Shakespeare Theater
The ARTS (music, drama, dance and visual
arts) are powerful tools for teaching and learning in schools
and communities. The Institute will give participants the inspiration,
knowledge and skill to provide students in schools and in community
settings with a complete education. This professional development
opportunity is open to school teams and to individuals interested in learning in,
through and about the ARTS.

- Experience hands-on ARTS activities to build your knowledge
and skill in the ARTS at the same time as you:
- Learn useful and effective teaching strategies and techniques
to enhance student learning across the curriculum.
- Plan ARTS integration implementation with your school team.
Over 20 successful teachers, administrators, and artists-in-schools
will present sessions!
Bring your SCHOOL TEAM!
Administrators,
arts teachers, classroom teachers, artists, and community members
will be guided in collaborative development of strategies for
successful implementation of Institute content in their own schools.
